oh happy day

so, i think most of my family has known for a while

 that i have been working

HARD

the past oh maybe 5 or 6 months.

good news is...it

 finally

paid off!

hooray

 for getting to move into the digital world in 2010!

i'll have the opportunity to get creative

and

still make commission on sales

and

 handle one of my big accounts that i've had for the past year.

the rainy weather held out every day so we got lots of sunshine on the beach.

we went to knoxville zoo's feast with the beasts again this year

me & reid (the only photo of the night and kind of blurry, oops!)

we ran into my coworker tonja and her husband billy

knoxville has a great zoo and really it never gets old seeing (or not seeing) the same animals each trip. feasts with the beasts for us is a way to eat, drink, and visit the zoo for free. its always incredibly hot and sticky walking around finding finger foods and samples of wine and beer, but i get the tickets free through work so i can't really complain!

this year, we saw some very graceful ivy (or kudzu?) covered entertainment

that reminded me of my halloween costume a couple of years ago

reid and i went as edward scissor hands and a bush. i made my outfit with silk leaves and hot glue. i'm betting thats how miss ivy ballerina made hers.

Not so Good Friday April 9, 2009

"Final damage assessment reports by Murfreesboro Building and Codes employees indicate that a total of 519 structures were impacted by an EF-3 tornado that ravaged northern and northeastern areas of the city on Friday.

Murfreesboro Police Maj. Clyde Adkison said assessors found that a total of 59 homes were totally destroyed, 182 had major damage, 109 had minor damage and 169 others were “affected.” -dnj

It is unbelievable how in just a matter of seconds, everything you know can be destroyed.

My family, including my grandparents & cousins were incredibly missed by the storm.

i stayed home from work today because i wasn't feeling so great. it turned out to be great.
